Heather is a licensed clinical social worker. She has been providing treatment for 25+ years working with people who have experienced complex trauma, primarily with survivors of sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and domestic violence. Heather is comfortable treating adults and adolescents in a calm, safe and warm counseling environment. She enjoys supporting people in establishing safety, healthy boundaries and living in the present. Heather utilizes various therapy approaches that include EMDR, polyvagal theory and parts perspective work. She thinks it is important to provide a compassionate space to support people learning from their stories and growing in how to live grounded and fully engaged in their present.
